With the current pandemic, the state of the music and touring industry has dramatically changed. Where were you when everything was brought to a halt?

I was about to release an EP with my band at the time Fallow State. We had 2 release shows lined up that were cancelled. :(

How has that affected your plans for the coming year? Did you have a tour planned, upcoming album release?

The band was out on hiatus and we all settled into working on our solo projects. We had an EP release planned and it was all cancelled. We did put out the album and did an online listening party. A year later we decided to go our separate ways, amicably, and dig into our own individual projects and voices which has been steeped in growth and mutual support for each other’s respective journeys.

What have you been doing to fill/make the most of your new-found free time at home? How are you supporting your mental health through all of this?

I have been writing, recording and releasing my own single which has been so liberating and aligned with who the pandemic has forced me to become. After losing my job and band everything was on shaky ground for a while. With some self care, down time, social media cleansing I have found my way through to a place that feels more aligned and authentic. In a way it feels like an upgrade but it wasn’t easy getting here. I’m grateful for friends and family and their unwavering support.

As things are reopening & restrictions are lifting have you booked any new gigs? Tours? Etc? If your region is still under restriction, how are dealing with the Covid third wave?

I have no shows or tours planned at the moment. Working on writing and recording has been a priority so when I have a sufficient catalogue under my belt of solo material I will be ready to hit the ground running!

Favourite Starlite Room Moment?

I am brand new to Starlite and would like to thank my amazing publicist Eric Alper for introducing me to this incredible platform. I feel in good company. Honoured to be included and see where this is headed.

Do you have a message for everyone at home reading this?

Love is essential. For you. For your families and loved ones. For strangers. For the collective heartbreak the world is experiencing. We are all in this together. Make it count.
